Hello,
Could you add an ability to be able to edit your own post on each board.
For example, at the time I'm writing this post, when I hit post button, and I think "Oops! I forgot to say something," then I should have an option to be able to edit my post.
Like on audiogames.net forum, they have an ability to edit the post if you're the topic owner.
Thanks.

I don't think a lot of the sights users are mature or responsible enough for this.
Enough drama gets created with out giving people something that exploitable.

Why not write your post in MS Word and then edit as you go? Except if it's a short post like this one, that's what I always do.

This has been brought up a few times over the years. Each time, it's decided that it would creat too much drama. People would start crap, then go back and edit it and try to look all innocent.

Someone did suggest something one time when this was brought up which I would totally be down for. Basically, it went something like even if someone does edit their post, allow people to see previous versions of that post. That is the only method that I personally would support if that feature was put in.

I'm with Mad Dog, on this.

I'm totally against letting people edit their own post.

It's not a big deal to write a new message saying "oops, I meant..."

I'd go for it if you had a time limit, or like several places I do reviews on, can edited before you actually send it.
This site has that feature, so you can check it before you post it.
But allowing people to go back at any point is a hassle.
Say what you mean to say, or eat dirt later. Lol

agreed with Anth and James on this. Too much potential for abuse. Jo had a good point, type your post in a WP first, then think through before posting
